I said that I would like to
offer a prayer to God, on her behalf, and moved to the side of her bed. At
that moment, she opened her eyes wide, raised her head from the pillow and exclaimed to me, "You
warned me and now it's too late! [I had invited those present at Bible
study to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord, she had not
responded]. I said, No! It's not too
late! You can still accept Jesus as your personal Savior right now and you
will have eternal life. But she fell back into unconsciousness of
coma. She never awakened again and died a few
days later. Suddenly the husband with an angry, evil look spoke to me from the foot of
her bed. He said, "You forget what she said to you, and if you ever
tell anyone about what happened here, I'll see that you are blacklisted all over this
area. Obviously, he was a Christ rejecter. His social position and money
was his God. I hope that he eventually gave his heart to Christ. I thought a great deal about that experience. It is never too late to accept christ's forgiveness and ask Him into your heart and life as your personal Savior and Lord of your life, however, she fell back into her coma before I could explain this truth of the Bible. So, it was by her choice -- too late for her, but it didn't have to be that way. We can tell others about the truths of God's Word and rescue many of them. But how will they come to Jesus, the Son of God -- unless they hear about Him and hear about God's promises in the Bible? I will keep spreading God's Word, the Bible to people everywhere, and teach His good news about Jesus. But there is more and more unbelief being spread through religious systems and the media. Satan and the dark side is using TV, radio, books, video and classrooms to spread unbelief and deception about Jesus. We can reach out to the masses of people and tell them the truth about the one true God and Jesus His Son! I have had, over a period of years, three radio programs. One was 15 minutes daily; one was 30 minutes weekly. I have decided that 10 minutes weekly will fit the interest span of many people for the type of message I have for them about Jesus in today's busy, secular world. The name of this radio program is Crossroads of Life. It starts out with an interesting fact or story, gradually moves into a teaching from the Bible and ends with an invitation to accept Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord of one's life. The Holy Spirit uses it powerfully. The announcer gives the RKL2.org web site address at the program's closing and hundreds of people respond and surf the site reading many of the pages and info. I have a statistics monitor that gives me general information and the total number of surfers each week. People are hurting with lots of problems and Crossroads of Life supplies answers.-- as does RKL2.org. It's a wonderful ministry! In one community, the Crossroads program brings up to 1500+ people per week accessing RKL2.org website. That's just one station. People in that radio area are wanting to know more about Jesus and the Bible. It is possible that crossroads of Life will soon be on a country music station across the city in that area.. These two markets reach about 50,000+ people. I expect the number of surfers per week will double or triple just from that one city. Further, I mention the church that sponsors Crossroads of Life program so that listeners will know where to find a Bible-believing Church they can visit. Have you wondered what you can do to help spread the word about Jesus and let people know how to get to heaven when they die? And how Jesus will help them and protect them if they open their heart to him and make a commitment to Him? OK, my friend, you can do all the above by helping me get Crossroads of Life on more stations. I am asking you to take a few minutes today and pray about what God is asking you to do to help me raise needed finances to move this radio ministry forward. Seek the Lord as to what you can do, right now, to help me by sending a gift of finances so I have the finances needed to move forward with Crossroads of Life radio program. The
Bible teaches to give according to our ability to give. For some of I'm asking you to sacrificially donate $10, $25 or more to help put the Crossroads of Life program on more stations. Will you do that? I believe many of you are willing to share with others the words of life. There are thousands of people from youth to the older adults who are receiving help through Crossroads of Life radio program for the many trials and problems in their relationships and their lives. I believe many are accepting Christ as their personal Savior. Christ is the answer! This verse comes to mind: Prov.3:27 "Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act." Rick Lawrence Ministries is reaching many thousands of people who never go to church and have no idea that Jesus loves them and died on the Cross for them. Won't you help me reach them?
