 Speeches are 25 - 40 minutes plus Q&A  Note: speeches 'talks' may be customized for length to fit service club agendas.  Presentations will be customized to meet the needs of your specific audience and time constraints. Seminars are 1-6 hrs as labeled. The following topics are seminars, but may be given as overview Talks of 25-40 minutes.  Note: Business, group, church, organization must have or meet in a facility that has:   movie projector that plays DVDs, and an appropriate screen and sound system.  Rick uses selected DVD video movie segments for a  number of  his speech and seminar presentations. The videos add helpful, relevant and interesting material to the presentation and are widely appreciated by audiences young and old. Handout sheets issued after the speech or seminar contain the name and source where parents or guardians can purchase the video for their own private use.

Note - Rick is a spiritually born again person by biblical standards. His speeches and seminars can be addressed to either or both: secular and religious strata of cultures and individuals.  Where appropriate or requested, he encourages wholesome lifestyles and will include biblical reference and/or invitation to individuals and groups to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. Rick, is a nondenominational, ordained, Christian teacher who has a lot of love for people; is not an 'in your face', 'down your throat' type of individual. He is, however, sensitive to the multitude of hurts and difficulties that many people are enduring in their life. Rick understands difficulties related to spiritual, mental, and physical problems. He is a friend and spiritual counselor not only to healthy but marginalized people.  Rick points people young and old to Jesus Christ of the Bible. Jesus  is the key to eternal life, and wants to help us in the here and now, as well. Heb. 13:8

Arctic Shrinkage and Effects of Global Warming - four of the five warmest decades in last 2,000 years occurred between 1950 and 2000. Sea ice melting. Russia, Norway, with new, state of the art icebreaker ships, in pact for mining precious metals of basin. USA far behind. It has apparently happened that some climate researchers have "cooked" the facts, however, there are many proofs and examples of global warming happening around the world,. The Age of Consent and Death of Truth - A Rising Tide of Moral Relativism and the Corruption of Popular Culture  -- moral relativism, the idea that people can do whatever feels right to them within legal boundaries, has a long history but only in the last several decades has it spread with such devastating speed and consequences -- starting, in modern times, with Nazi Germany. No society has ever lasted when it switched from moral absolutes to moral relatives. Relative moral  values entertained in the minds of liberal academia, deny there are absolute moral laws. The logical inference is, according to moral relativism, even the ten commandments are no longer absolute laws, they have become only recommendations. Summation -- what we can and should do to reverse this trend.

Why Johnny and Stacey Don't Know Right from Wrong - Why Johnny and Stacey, your workers, or some staff personnel, Sometimes, Can't Tell Right from Wrong.  Traditional  values  are summarily dumped in many of our schools and Universities. Johnny  and  Stacey  are confused, they often fail to understand  limits and values. They often end-up making wrong choices which, in many instances, result in the burgeoning problems of drug abuse, suicide and violence. These are life-wrecking and sometimes, life-threatening social disasters. Moral relativism lends itself to wrecking and killing children and adults who have grown up under its illogical teaching. This produces further warping of our popular culture and leads to instability and anarchy in youth and adults who have been taught it.

   1. The Power of Change: How addictions: Chemical, mental and physical may be reversed and in many instances -- cured. Seminar (6 hrs.) How you can turn your life around, take control and experience the changes you have wished for  1 day seminar - 6 hrs, or 2 days 3 hrs. each.  It is never too late to start building a new, more focused you and I will show you how we start life, grow up and ways we are programmed unconsciously throughout our lives. Find out why we may frequently fail to succeed in changing our lives, no matter how hard we try. Find out the reasons why people, young and old, become and often remain addicted to debilitating drugs both illicit and prescription drugs.  Find out keys to success in reversing drug abuse -- things that actually work for most people who approach them one step at a time. Family Seminar - 6 hrs. How to handle parenting and discipline of children.  Studies have consistently shown that children raised outside marriage suffer disproportionately from physical and mental illness; are more likely to drop out of school, abuse drugs or alcohol; engage in violence or suffer it in their homes; and are less likely to attend college. I Have Good Manners – General: 1 hr. seminar for
            preschool and Kindergarten kids.  30 min. video: mealtime, playtime, telephone, school , and health topics.  This video is especially helpful for teaching young children about the basic manners that help people of all ages get along with each other. Note:The video is in English, only. This fundamental instructional emphasizes kindness, respect, and simple common sense.  It  is  a superbly produced, completely upbeat, and useful  viewing experience to share  with children preschool through kindergarten.  Rick Lawrence
shows this video to the kids and teaches each segment to them by brief group discussion; he and the kids talk about it. The kids are enthusiastic about learning manners.  One mom says this about the video, “Both of my kids, age 6 and age 3, have really enjoyed watching this DVD!!
